Kenny Bae
Owner
Kenny swears he’s been cooking since first grade, mostly to avoid eating his mom’s food. With a dad who spent over a decade in Paraguay, his palate stretches well beyond Asian-American flavors, especially Korean-American ones. Outside the kitchen, he’s usually complaining about school or watching YouTube, though he insists it counts as being productive. One day, Kenny...

Max Bosquet
Marketing Director
Max never fails to pick up new hobbies and time commitments that later lead to him wondering why he’s so tired all the time. One minute he’s experimenting with his dubious kombucha he brewed in his freshman year dorm and other times he’s out taking pictures of birds and somehow he still finds time to run the Food and Beverage Society. Outside of the F&B world Max is the Vice President of the Cornell University Glee Club, where music has become a crucial part of his college experience. When he’s not juggling wine, music, and random side quests, Max can usually be found overanalyzing his schedule, procrastinating, and convincing himself that chaos counts as character development.

Juliana Coronel
Communication/Outreach Coordinator
Juliana grew up watching Cupcake Wars, fasciated by the creative minds of the culinary industry and fast-paced nature of being in a kitchen. Because of her Mexican and Jewish familial background, she found love in bringing her friends and family together through food and culture. Although she plans to go to law school, she promises to bring her entrepreneurial spirit and love for cooking with her wherever she ends up. Juliana loves going to the gym, watching TSITP with her younger sister, and challenging her friends to ping pong matches.

Andrew Chen
Mascot/Branding/Advertising
Andrew thought he was signing up for a basketball team because he read Bool as Ball, but somehow he’s still on the roster. Since then, he’s bounced between golf, hotels, and finance, proving he’s good at committing even when the scouting report looks questionable. His diet may lean on burrito bowls, but he dreams of retiring in Japan, opening a restaurant, and finally earning a nod of approval for his tonkatsu from someone’s grandma.

Kyra Husen
Photographer/Videographer
For Kyra, cooking is an act of self-love. She lets go, rarely follows a recipe and just does whatever her heart desires. When the cooking begins, her overthinking ends (or it takes a pause, I guess). Kyra joined Bools to have fun in the kitchen with friends!

Jordyn Johnson
Recruitment Director
“Everyone always needs a little sunshine in your life”, says the Floridan from Tampa, Florida. Jordyn grew up in the sunshine state that grew her love for food and beverage! She specializes with Jamaican and Puerto Rican cuisines and is surprisingly vegetarian! Outside of the kitchen, she loves hanging out with friends and traveling to experience different cultures!
